My oncologist was very pleased to report that my results are ‘fab’, his words.
The tumour has shrunk and no sign of cancer anywhere else.
So, I’m now being handed back to my consultant (the bum doctor) for him to book me in for my surgery.
As always I’ve had loads of messages of support from friends and family today.
Thanks everyone, much appreciated.
I wasn’t expecting bad news as I knew the tumour had shrunk but wasn’t able to tell if the cancer had spread of course.
As you can imagine, much relief in the Reeve household tonight so we’re treating ourselves to a glass or two of vino.
We now enter phase three(?) and hopefully it will go as smoothly as the previous phases!
Thank you for reading!
